Gemini 4 Argon reaches the Gemini app. Check which product your plan covers.

Google announced access for AI Pro and Ultra subscribers in the Gemini app on October 13. Its separate Antigravity offering has a different plan requirement.

Google’s October 13, 2026 announcement says Gemini 4 Argon is rolling out to Google AI Pro and Ultra subscribers in the Gemini app and AI Mode in Search. The same rollout announcement lists Ultra access for Google Antigravity and paid API access for developers.

Similar names do not mean the same access

The app announcement also describes an Antigravity coding interface inside the Gemini macOS app. Do not infer that every separately offered product or interface has identical subscription access. Check the product and account you intend to use before paying or changing your workflow.

What Google says has improved

Google describes stronger coding performance and more direct, less repetitive answers. Those are the provider’s claims; we have not independently compared Argon with another model.

Availability is the news, usefulness needs your own check

Our recommendation is to try an allowed, nonconfidential task with a known expected result if your existing account offers access. Compare the result and the correction effort. A launch announcement does not establish that the model will handle your particular task correctly.

Published October 14, 2026 KST. Google announcement and stated rollout start: October 13. No subscription, app session, API call or coding comparison was tested; account-specific availability was not verified.
