The Rams led 16–0 at halftime. Denver had been shut out through two quarters, then scored 30 points in the second half. Safety Talanoa Hufanga returned a Matthew Stafford interception 66 yards for a touchdown.
Two Denver touchdown drives and two successful two-point conversions tied the game at 16. The Rams later moved ahead 26–23, setting up one last Broncos drive.
