Privacy
Files are processed in your browser. They are not uploaded.
Your language choice is saved in a first-party cookie for one year and used across pages. Choose Automatic to clear it and follow your connection country when available. When measurement is enabled, we count page views and actions by topic, language and broad source. We do not attach a visitor ID or store full referring URLs. For the status, earthquake and image-combining tools, this browser stores only the last UTC date you opened each tool. Opening it on a later day sends an aggregate return-visit count without an ID. This check is skipped when measurement is disabled or browser privacy signals are on. A first-party session cookie can exclude operator test visits from measurement. It contains only an off setting, not an identifier.
The hosting provider receives connection information, including IP addresses, to deliver and secure the site and infer a country for language selection. Aggregate event counts are kept for up to 30 days; expired counts are removed on the next write. Country-level statistics use the country inferred from your connection IP by Cloudflare. Our analytics database stores country codes, not raw IP addresses. Aggregated snapshots may be kept locally for longer than 30 days.
